The Proposal!!

So.. Aaron and I had planned on doing dinner and a movie. Aaron really wanted to watch the Marley and Me movie and it was supposed to have so pretty cute and funny blooper at the end so i said heck yeah!

Well we watched the movie and i boo hooed like little baby!!! It got to be the end of the movie and everyone started to leave.. so i told aaorn we should probably get outta there b/c Jeff wasn't as cool as Wichita so they prob wouldn't even show the bloopers.. and aaron convinced my to stay..

It got down to us and one other couple in the theatre.. and i BEGGED aaron to leave so we didn't look stupid! Well once again he convinced me to stay..

All of a sudden this huge
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY I LOVE YOU KARA
popped up on the screen and i was awww how sweet babe and gave him a kiss and hug and got up to leave (once again) and then i heard some music start up and a huge picture of me pop up on the big scree! WHAT?! Then it continued on to play a song that aaron had wrote for me (check it out on deklynmusic myspace) and a slide show of random pictures of me with words of the songs wrote out across the screen!! How Adorable Right??!! Well that's not it..

It got to the end of the slide show and aaron told me it was time to go and here's the rest...

Aaron- as he faces kara "Ok, you know i love you. right?"
Kara - "Well Yeah!"

Aaron - as he bends to one keen pulling out a small dark box of his pocket "Kara, will you marry me?"

Kara - "OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!! OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!! "

"OF COURSE!!!"

and as if i didn't believe him i kept asking "are you serious? like is this for real right now??" all as im shaking from head to toe with excitement!! Best day of my life so far!!

Let me explain...

So Tuesday day my new little friend followed me to G&W.. not that bad right?
Ok so Tuesday evening we have to take the little friend home.. still not bad?!

My mom and i went down to Napa (where my dad works) to get his truck to transport Sadie (that's what we call her). We loaded up the pup and take her home and all is good everyones happy to see her. Well, i couldn't leave Raven (house dog - Yorkie) in the house after she had seen me come home and i failed to tell her hi!!

Soo.. we brought Raven with us to take dads truck back to him at Napa! (Bored yet?) When we finally arrived at Napa I went in with little Ravie in my arms... after we got inside my suggested i let Raven down so we could watch how cray and excited she was acting..

THEN STUPID KARA.. decided to run around the isle from my puppy...not realizing how slippery her shoes were..

Ran around an isle.. slipped.. hit some tool boxes that go in a truck bed.. one fell on me.. and BOOOOM (or snaap) there goes a TOOTH!! or at least part of it..

I had knocked off the bottom half of one of my b-e-a-u-tiful front teeth! Yep!

So... today i went to the Dentist bright and early.. whatd they tell me? I had to come back ..luckly they were able to get me in later on today. So i went back and foudn out that i was going to get a temporary tooth put on and that i would get a permanent tooth in a couple weeks! (Thank God!)

So i survived! I realize now that it is pretty funny and i am sooo lucky that's the only thing wrong! I mean this is the first foriegn object in my body for 21 years so it is a little upsetting, but i'm glad i still have all 10finger and toes :)

Moral: DON'T RUN IN NAPA!!!!!

What do we have here...

We had a little friend show up at G&W this weekend and i decided to adopt her!

..unless i can find her orginal owner! She seem to be a mix between ethier lab.. Golden Retriever.. or maybe German Shepard?! If you have any idea who this little darling belongs to let me know!

Right now were calling her Sadie and she's actually geting along great with my other pets. She is a big ol' dog and she eats a ton! but we love her and i'm happy i'm able to give her a good home! She seems to like us, too :)

i need to let you know about the coolest thing since the blackberry.. wait nothing can out do a blackberry!!! so anyway.. it's this site called hungry girl. the website is ran by just a regular girl who wanted to get healthy!

you can sign up here and get a daily email, the emails either have tips for everyday fast food joints, new ways to cookup great recipes, and even a tipsy drink every now ans then!

Well a few months ago i heard that hungry girl was going to put out a cookbook! YAY! so i just now got around to buying it and i'm cooking up one of the recipes right now!! like at this instant i'm waiting for the timer to go off :) i'll let you know as soon as i taste it how fabulous and healthy it really is!

Change..

I'm not a big fan of change but i thought it was time.. i changed around a few things on my blog (hopefully making it easier and not so cheesy) I hope you like pictures of me and aaron.. you'll be seeing a lot more of those! Our relationship is doing fabulous.. never better!! I'm also going to try to keep my posts regular.. not so jumpy aroundy! sometimes my life is random so you will still see the random junk on here just hopefully not as bad!

I'm also going to try to get more personal with you guys and tell you more about my day-to-day life instead of just touching base with a few things. Through the next week i'm going to introduce you to my family and close friends.. cross your fingers you on the list :) hehe

So hope you all can bear with me while i try to keep this regulated, but still not boring!!
It'll be nice to hear from you all again....WAIT you never left me comments before???!!!! i still think you guys need to work on that!

It is wonderful! I can do ANYTHING with it..

I also got Adobe Photoshop to go along with the camera so i can not wait to firgure out hoq to use Adobe..any tips?

UPDATE!!!!

I am alive!! I swear!! I know i've been mia for a month now i will be updating frequently now..

Reasons:

-i just got highspeed internet! Woot Woot

-i have 2 online classes so i will be on the net a lot the next 8 weeks

-I got a new fab camera for christmas and tons of pictures to share

-I will be bored outta my mind b/c aaro just went back to kansas :(

OVERWHELMED

Who Knew?!

Who knew there was ANOTHER valentine's day?? i didn't.. and here's why..

Great Idea!

Jill found this really neat idea on the web a couple months ago that she

wanted to try out! Well i guess neither one of us has a good memory b/c

she just remembered it yesterday... so last night and today we have been

working on putting this together. I think they would be great for names

or as this website suggests for welcome signs and other signs.

today i'm gonna share with you some coolio stuff i've found lately on the web!


- Swagbucks - this is a search engine that pulls it'd findings from google and other search engines and trys to give you the best match.. the cool thing about it is you earn points with nearly every search. so if your like me and pull up google about times a day this is awesome...so after you earn a buncha points you can redeem gifts with them!! yeah i said gifts! you can get anywhere from dvds to a wii. you can also earn points by inviting your friends and going through the website to shop at stores!! basically a really neat thing!



- Flickr - This is a photo editing site (i think i've told you about it before) where you can turn your photos into amazing pictures! as you can see by alllll the pictures i edit... you can add text, "stickers," fix blemishes, turn your photo black and white, add borders, and if you up grade to the pro like dana did..you can even whiten your teeth!!



- DIY Network - This is a website based off the tv channel DIY (Do It Yourself)... here you can find anything from Jewelry making to Woodworking! it's great! they show you tutorials on how to make certain things or give you step by step instructions.. i think it would be fun to make these little Halloween decorations!



- Two Peas in a Bucket - this is a social network especially for scrapbookers and card makers! they have got some amazing ideas and you can post your own ideas! There are weekly challenges so there is always new material. I personally LOVE this layout and would like to recreate it in my own scrapbook!

- Yahoo Answers - this site is a life saver when it comes to homework, quizzes, adn tests! these people know everything! if your not sure whether or not to trust some one's answer you can see how others voted them and their profiles. one of my favorites ladies is an economics teacher and is really helpful! They can answer questions on modeling, pregnancy, and even sex questions! haha sry for that last one! but it's a helpful site.

- Scrapblog - this is how i made the neat looking picture at the top of my blog! it's basically an online scrapbook! but i only use the site to make a layout then print it off for my own use! here is one made by another scrapblog user...it's endless the possibilities!

Randoms...

- I've been slacking on my Wii project.. the fair was an exercise right?

- i've had a bad day...my aunt flow came to visit (hope no guys read this!), my hair wouldn't work, it's raining, i messed up on the dessert for tina's bday, layla picked on me, i was off in my drawer, and my dog died...ok so my dog didn't die but it kinds went with my sentence :)

- I'm still seriously thinking about switching my major..i kinda need to decide within the next month or so...dang

- i've been playing with flickr today and some photos i had laying around in my computer here at work...

- started to watch Over Her Dead Body last night but didn't really get into it so i can't really tell you what it's about so i was just teasing you when i tagged this a movie review!

- aaron doesn't get to visit me near as much now that he's in school and it makes me sad...

- i added another feature type thing on my blog..it's called the other kara... and it's just a few random blogs that i have found through google blog search. the girls that own the blogs are kara's too :) check em out

Hair do..boo?

ok i got my hair cut the other day and i'm trying to figure out which cut is the best for me..

One style is longer in the front than in the back..but not like the short cute style..it's a grown out version of the short style. but my point is it's all one length around my face. >

the other style is all one length with layers gone crazy...lots of layers! and my swooped bangs aren't so long.. \/

let me know which one you think is better over in the poll on the right!!!

Another Side Note: I hope the weather isn't psycho tonight like it was last night at the fair!! a huge storm blew in, in like 5 mintues.

Hoo Hoo!!

B-I-N-G-O!

i went to play bingo with my mom last night and won some big money!! i almost didn't go but i'm so happy i did now :)

we were playing a game that's called lucky 7 and if you win the bingo within 28 calls you get the pot and anything after 28 numbers you get $52.50...i had a card that had gotten down to 3 numbers left to be called and made the mistake of calling it out to my mom! needless to say that card died off...then another card stepped up and got me down to 4..then 3...then 2..then 1. they still had 5 numbers to call before it reached the 28th number so i started doing the statistics in my head to see what kind of a chance that i had to win the big pot!

in the mean time i could see my mom looking over at my card obviously noticing i only had one space left so i kept praying in my head that mom wouldn't call it out so i wouldn't ruin my luck again! anyway i'm sitting there wiggling, humming, and shaking m,y leg trying not to look to ancy when my mom turned around to look at the number that was about to be called..then shot back around to look at my card. soon enough the guy announced O-7-4!!! i don't think it could have came out in more slow motion if he had tried. so of course i tried to get the word bingo outta my mouth and i think it took about 3 tries before it actually sounded like the word bingo! my mom started squealing and the older ladies who play every week started cursing me.. the man came up to get my winning card from me and my mom turned to me and said "i hope it's right!"

well it was right and i ended up winning $525!! Woot Woot watch out vacation here i come!

Good News!

- I no longer have to stress about which phone i want to buy b/c.....my wonderful luver got me a blackberry! It's due to arrive today around noonish! i'm super excited to get a new phone..mainly just a phone that works right!!

- my luver had to go back to kansas today to get things ready for when he moves back such as books, renew driver's lisence, and other things. it's really strange b/c i've seen him every single day for almost the entire summer and pretty soon i'll have to fend for myself for something to do during the week! maybe that's when i 'll start my crafts i've been wanting to make.

- i drove to chipotle last night to get some good grub and there was a lady standing outside handing out flyers so i was like ok cool maybe it's a coupon. but no she proceeded to tell us that they HAD been giving out free diners and that the line had just stopped. so instead of just making buy our dinner (which we had planned on anyway!) she told us to come back 2moro and wouldn't even serve us!! so we ended up at the dragon buffet or kitchen and ate some amazing chinese food!! ended up at cold stone afterwards and life was good!

Happy 100th Post!!!!

Hoo Hoo Hoo!!! I can't belive i've already made it that far! I remember reading blogs who were celebrating they're 100th post thinking WOW that's a lot of writing..i'm not that interesting of a person with enough going on to write about 100 different things!! But here i am..not so sure if im interesting but i do manage to post random bits of stuff!
