Date Night

aaron and i had our "date night" last night! where to start...



aaron and i take the LONG route to columbia b/c we had no idea we had been doing in wrong all the times we've been to columbia...imagine that huh! so we went shopping in sam's club. i was a virgin to sam's club until last night but it was awesome!! i've never seen containers so big b4!



after shopping we went by the movie theatre and picked up our tickets to see the movie The Strangers and then went on to eat at Huhots!! (in this post kelly explains Huhots) the food was awesome...i love Chinese noodles!! after we left huhots we was on our way to the movie theatre...laughing have a good ol time. i was pumped up on sugar from my tea and was singing really loud and stuff. ...a little side note...when i take a drink up water and you make me laugh i will spew...gueranteed!....anyway we were having a really good time and i took and drink of my soda and got tickled about how goofy aaron and i had been acting when all of a sudden i choked, then i got sick in my mouth, then i couldn't hold back any more, i got sick in my hands, then i had to release it on the floor, then i did it again, again, and again!!! i ended up getting sick about 6 times total! i was feelings bad, i didn't overeat, i didn't even heave and my stomach didn't clench up!! it was gross...like a fountain out of my mouth....so by the time i ended my little whatever the hell it was i had "gross stuff" all over my pants, my hands, the car, my purse, and the dash....what the hell!?!? aaron pulled over and tried to get me out of the car while i still had a mouth full and a hand full of "gross stuff" so he had to help me get out and then clean up the car...i was freaking out b/c i had no idea what had happened! so i needed some clean clothes to wear to the movies..i couldn't go with "gross stuff" all over me!!! so aaron and i went to kohl's he went inside after i asked him if he could get me some jeans shorts or a skirt in size 5....so i sat out in the car looking PATHETIC with "gross stuff" all over my legs and a sad look on my face...20 minutes later aaron come out with a bag full of stuff. aaron had bought me a cute little flowy skirt made of cotton and a black cami to match it...he is officially the best guy ever! not may of my friends would even consider cleaning up my "gross stuff" much less helping me change and go shopping for me. I love him!!

Movie Fun

Ya know i watched the movie Just Friends again the other night and that movie is so dang funny! i had forgotten just how funny it was... i love amy smart b/c shes so cute. but i love love love ana faris!!! she cracks me shit up in every single movie she has ever played in!! (she's the dumb one in the Scary Movie movies) man oh man i wish i could be that funny...

on another note aaron and i are going on a "date night" tonight! Grocery shopping, dinner, and a movie Yippee!

Rain Rain Go Away

I AM SO SICK OF RAIN!!

the weekend was good but the rain was horrible...just a few hours of sun would have made me a very happy person but no!! i didn't get any sun therefore i am still white and had to return to the tanning bed in which i swore off a couple months ago which led to me getting sunburned and now i am even more mad than i was already! haha

so aaron worked all saturday and all i managed to knock off my list was making him supper and vacuuming my car..boo

sunday we got lost a total of 4 times :) (me driving...aaron texting) but everything went great and our families really clicked! there were also a lot of storms sunday...my parent got a pretty neat picture of a funnel cloud of their phone!

monday we hung around at aaron's sisters...there was no need in hurrying back to vienna to get on the river b/c it was raining AGAIN! when we finally did leave we got lost AGAIN...we ended up way out of or way and had to loop back around through desoto and richwoods...getting lost really sucked and i got really upset but it ended up being an ok time b/c i got to show aaron where some of my family lived and neat little things like that!

Tonight i don't have any plans but i would like to do something...maybe an early dinner and a movie or something. aaron has to work from 6am to 10pm tomorrow and i'd rather not keep him out all night but i'm starting to get cabin fever b/c we've been home every night this week!!

Tomorrow aaron has to work ALL DAY LONG so i am open! Need a shopping buddy? haha j/k i have couple things i would like to do tomorrow so i'm going to make a list for all to see...then maybe i'll actually try to get them done!

-first and for most.. work
-hit up the river for a couple hours
-clean my room spotless
-clean my car spotless so it will look nice when we take it up to stl sunday
-pack my clothes for the stl trip
-make something for aaron's supper or go get something nice...hopefully he tells me when he has his break so i can actually take him dinner for a change!
-put some new songs onto my phone and mp3 player
-rent a movie to watch when the luver finally gets home!!

Sunday aaron, me , my mom, and my dad are all going up to aaron's sister's house in stl to spend the day together. aaron's parents are already up there and they'll be spending the day with us, too! were gonna head up there early and eat breakfast together...then us girls are gonna go shopping and leave the boys to cook us dinner! then we'll just hang out the rest of the night. my parents are going home later that night but aaron and i are going to stay up there until monday and then make our way back to vienna!!

I passed!!

I got to work this morning with a lovely surprise!! we had our auditor people visiting us...it's really not THAT big a deal, but for some reason it stresses me out. basically they make us count out every single penny to them so they know we aint stealing money and i passed yay me...i rewarded myself with a soda! haha

so last night we (im going to refer to aaron and i as we now...not because we are a "we" but i'm sure you get tired of me saying both our names all the time!) so WE made the philly steak/chicken and cheese things and they were GREAT! then we were craving smores...strange i know. well we went to the store and got the makins...marshmallows, graham crackers, and a hershey bar. well... here comes the funny part :) we decided to do it inside instead of outside. we used a fork to hold the marshmallow and a lighter to "roast" the marshmallows and while aaron was roasting i was melting the chocolate onto the graham crackers by warming them up in the microwave. i know this is a form of cheating but they turned out really good! we even got them black and crispy just like you would have on a real fire...here comes another funny part. aaron dropped the lighter and we both frantically tried to find it under the table (b/c that's where aaron said it had fallen) b/c my dog was hunting it too and if she would have found it first her tongue may have no longer existed b/c it was very very hott..so in our massive hunt under the table i manage to slam the top of my head into some very hard surface and it continued to knock me to the floor...granted i didn't have far to fall due to the fact i was on my hands and knees already but damn that hurt a sisters head!! and ya know where the freaking lighter was??? go ahead ask me? well while i was groaning on the floor from my massive head ache i found the lighter...UNDERNEATH AARON'S KNEE!! ohh man other than the fact that i have a huge knot on my head we got a good laugh and some awesome smores out of the ordeal!

Get in my BELLY!! ...not my butt

it has been all about the food in my house for the past few nights...aaron made chicken fajitas Monday, mom made steak Tuesday night and aaron and i made healthy strawberry smoothies for everyone, and last night we had green beans, potatoes, and ham....yum yum yum. tonight aaron and i are going to make philly steak(chicken) sandwiches. im excited because i've never been too kitchen savvy and i can actually help make this kind of stuff...and it's healthy Woot Woot!

on another note aaron and i went to the gym last night and i decided i wanted target my gluteus maxi mus muscles...aaron gave me few exercises to do and a whole interval plan type thing for the treadmill. the treadmill workout got my blood-a-pumpin and the sweat-a-pourin but the exercises didn't really strain my muscles too bad so i figured it was just another failed attempt but no i was wrong...i'm extremely sore today. thanks babe i outta have a toned ass in no time! ;)

Hump Day

yesterday evening when i got work i knew exactly what i was going to do...give blood! i've tried several times to give blood since my first experience in 06 but either my iron was too low or my heart rate was too high!! i figured i'd give it another go and see if all my healthy eating had helped my iron deficiency. i wasn't really wanting to go alone so i asked aaron if he just wanted to tag along..he ended up giving blood, too...it was his first time so i think he was a little nervous.

my iron was fine so hopped up on the chair and was done in about 10 minutes! aaron got done a little later and joined me and the snack ladies in our taste testing of the snacks...i had waaaay too many haha.



last time i gave blood i like zonked out immediately after giving blood but this time i was feeling pretty energetic..i even ran up the stairs by two to give my mom the bag she had asked for...MISTAKE! i was so outta breathe by the time i got to her i couldn't stand it so i went down and sat on the couch..which led to laying down...which led to a 2 hour nap!! i woke up totally confused and wondering what time it was and i could hear someone clanking in the kitchen. knowing my mom was gone to bingo and my dad was gone to the gym that left aaron. i went into the kitchen and there was aaron cooking some supper :) he had made us some chicken fajitas...man they were fabulous!



so thanks to aaron's cooking i was feeling better in no time...way to save the day babe!

Home again home Again

i'm back in missouri now..i had another fabulous weekend!! aaron and i got a lot of stuff accomplished...thank goodness it was all fun stuff!

Friday evening we left for kansas and got there around 10:30-11pm and went straight to bed...that drive makes ya tired.

Saturday was a very full up day. first aaron made me breakfast in bed then we got ready and went to a car lot so he could show me the kinda of car he has been wanting! after we left the car place we went out to eat at Kyoto. there was a grill built in to your table and the guy cooks your food right in front of you. he would toss things in the air, make them land in his hat, and he would make funny noises and bang stuff....haha it was a lot of fun and the food was really good, too.

after we were finish eating we went shopping at the mall close by and i got a swimsuit bottom and some flip flops. then we headed on over to the zoo. there were alot of really neat animals there and i haven't been to a zoo in a while so it was interesting. on of our first stops was the reptile house. we took a picture of nearly every animal but i'm going to put the coolest looking ones up for you to see. ==> here's a comodo dragon...he was inside a log so i kinda got a butt shot from behind :) next we went into the "jungle" it was set up with misters and some of the animals were roaming free. <==here are some bird friends we made along the way. we also went into penguin territory..==>these little guys were out in the open like all of the other animals...i had no idea they could stand the heat. anyway they were awful cute and awful fast...i was barely able to snap this picture same went for the otters..unfortunatly i didn't get a shot of them :(

we saw the bears, too! this little grizly bear was playing in the water with this ball...it was amazing how playful he was. it was almost like he was a dog because he would bat at the ball and shack his head and swim in the water and stuff...cute cute cute! ==>

we had a fun time filling in thoughts for the animals...<==this black bear was thinking..."man if i could only get to the other side of this fence!" when WE got to the other side of the fence we found ourselves looking at some deer...haha he was wanting some lunch!

we also saw a really neat looking animal with zebra stripped legs and an almost brindle color to his body!! aaron said he thought it was a horse and a zebra crossed...hummm

then we moved on to the king cat...i got cute picture of the female but i thought ==> this picture of the male was really awesome...he looks so proud and mighty. haha most of the animals were next to the glass so we a lot of good look-sees.

then we got to the gorilla house.. it was pretty neat inside and there were a lot of different places for the gorilla to be. for instance there were two outside..one by the glass and the other out by the fence on the other side. there was also an inside cage for some of the others. some were going crazy while others looked bored as hell! <== i took a picture of this big guy cuz if looks could kill we would all be dead...he looked at everyone with such an evil look...if you notice he's staring right into the camera and he would make eye contact with you until you looked away! "I'm gonna beat you up!" -thats what he was saying!!

all in all the zoo trip was really fun! after we left the zoo we went to another mall to check out some different stores...i ended up buying a couple more shirts :) man i love to shop! then we went home and got cleaned up for what we thougth would be a play...when we got there the averege age group for the play was about 65. we rethought it and decided to get our money back and got see a movie. aaron and i went and saw what happens in vegas which ended up being a great movie...we ordered food in the theatre and snuck our own cheesecake in and had a blast! soon after the movie we started our walk across town so we could see the fireworks going on at riverfest! we ended up walking almost 3 miles to the river and we got to see some really neat fireworks!!

after the fireworks we walked the 3 miles back to the car (not as bad as it sounds) and took a couple popular streets with bars and stuff on it back so we had some stuff to look at and then decided to go to The Alley. the alley is like a huge gaming room! we rode go karts and it was really fun b/c i beat aaron... we had some humor while standing in line, too! there was a sign that said you must be this tall to ride this ride and...it was 60 inches!! im only 62 inches!! next we bowled and all i got to say is it's nothin like wii bowling! i threw the ball everywhere except at the pins. i even threw a ball into the other lane and hit the divider and it ended up being a gutter ball in someone else's lane!!!! ooppss

we played another game and i know aaron let me win even tho we wouldn't admit to it :)

after we bowled our 2 games we left and went home for the night! man we were busy busy from 10 in the morning to 2 o'clock that next morning! we had so much fun it was even funny!

sunday morning we got up and got ready for church. we went to the St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral..it was really pretty inside and out. the inside of the building was full of hand painted paintings..it was beautiful! after the church service aaron, me, his mom, and his dad helped to get donuts, coffee, and orange juice ready for everyone! after that we went to a country club with some of his dad's immediate family to eat. the food was AWESOME! it was a buffet made by

top-notch chefs....Chicka Chicka woot woot!!!!

finally when we were done eating we headed out for vienna and stopped to talk to a friend of mine that moved to wichita after we graduated...long trip short aaron and i got a lot of talking in and we both had a great time this weekend!!!

Woot Woot friday is finally here...thank God!

today right after work aaron and i are gonna leave for kansas...it's a 5 hour trip so we'll prolly get his house around 10. we'll set up camp (kidding) and prolly go to bed b/c the drive is actually quite tiring.

tomorrow morning we're gonna get up and go the zoo in kansas..it's supposed to be one of the top in the world or something and i'm really excited about it! then we're goin to go eat at some place that they cook your food in front of you! that outta be neat i've never been somewhere they've done that before. then were goin to go see a play!! yes a play! Hopefully it will be a lot of fun, too! finally we'll top the evening off with some fireworks from river fest that's going on in "old town" in wichita!

sunday were going to attend a church service with his parents and some family members and then go have lunch...after lunch we'll pack up and head on back missouri :)

i'm sure i'll have a fun weekend and hopefully you all do, too!!!

Ironic!

this whole week i have been trying to find the perfect gift for aaron for our 6 months annv. while we were shopping this past weekend he had commented on a watch with a white band so i decided i would find one and surprise him with it...i spent 2 days searching the net and finally found a few at fossil.com and fell in love with one of the watches and ordered it for aaron. they even sent me cute little tin to put it in! i wrapped it all neatly, hidding the brand so it wouldn't be so obvious what it was. i was soooo proud of myself well....

i came home today after work and aaron was just gettin' in from kansas. i went outside to help him bring all of his stuff in the house and he gave me my gift. well...it was a tin...very similar to the tin i had hidden us in my room all nicely wrapped...i immediately opened knowing what it was and all i could manage to get out was "that's funny!" of course i told him i loved it and tried to play it off so it wouldn't spoil his surprise. we got him all moved in which took about 45 minutes and i took him up to my room to give him his gift...as soon as he saw the tin he was like "really?" he absolutely loved his watch and i love mine...isn't it ironic that neither one of us had any idea what to get the other and ended up both getting fossil watches :) here are the pictures of our watches \/

Happy 6 Months!

Today is aaron and i's 6 months anniversary (dating)..ya know i like to make a big deal about it! haha so in honor of it i'm gonnna remind you of the post i dedicated to aaron a couple months ago!!! love ya babe ;)

Hip Hip Hooray!

I'm having my last class tonight!
i take my final around 6 o'clock and then i'm free for a couple weeks ;)

Weekend Recap!

I had a fabulous weekend...fun filled!!!

Friday night i had class which wasn't too exciting but i cam home to aaron at my house and made things little better.

Saturday was the main day of excitement! aaron and i went to the lake to hang out and shop and do whatever else we felt...it started out a sunny day but was pouring by the time we made our journey down there, but that sure didn't put a damper on our fun. we started out the day going to pacsun woot woot.. pretty much our fav store EVER. we walked around the store for prolly an hour...i tried on a swim suit and looked at some tanks and shorts.. decided i hated the swimsuit bottoms and that i never ever wanted to wear shorts again!! haha i ended up getting the swimsuit top...zebra stripped ;) and i got some black flip flops to hopefully replace my old faithful ones that are about to fall apart. aaron ended up getting 4 shirts! a red one, bright blue one, black one, and a light blue one to match some shorts he had. then we went to rue 21 and aaron was glued to the sunglasses while i was hunting a belt...found one, no luck for aaron. then we nosed around the music 4 less store and the icing store and didn't buy a thing. i did buy sone capris for my mom at aeropostale tho! i know my mom wears prolly about a size smaller then me so hunted around the store for some capris and found the perfect ones...i then picked up a couple sizes and tried them one until i found one that i could barely sqeeze my butt into and had to suck in about 4 inches to zip.. PERFECT (and yeah they fit her great)

next we went down to the strip to see if anything was open this time of year and i was actually surprised at how many stores WERE open. of course we hit up dogpatch and the leather man, we also we went in summer usa and some other swim suit stores to see if i could find an appropriate mate to my zebra top. i was looking for a plain jane black bottom with proper coverage and NO TIES...is it that hard to make a swim suit like that geeze. needless to say i didin't find any i liked and even if a had liked them i wasn't going to pay $45 for just the bottom!!!

after that disappointment we saw a store for old time photos and decided we had to have it done! we went in the store and looked around at the pictures trying to decide how we wanted to pose or how we wanted to dress. i finally decided on a saloon girl so i figured the lady would just give a couple pieces of fabric and i'd put it on...simple as that. the lady took me to a rack that was about 10 foot long over stuffed with TONS of crazy clothes and told me to have at it! i had no idea where to even start so i pretty much just dug for about 30 min and aaron didn't have much luck either. he decided to be a gambler so after i found what i thought was a shirt and what i thought was a skirt i tried to help him find a suit that fit him out of the 20 that were there. thankfully we did have some help with aaron's hat but yeah that's all the help we got!! so we went in the 4X4 box and tried to get dressed. finally an hour later we got to take our picture and it turned out really good...aaron and i assumed since he was gambler he would hold a deck of cards or something liek that tho..and the dude pulled out a machine gun...haha the look on aaron's face was priceless :)

the guy had told us it would be a little over an hour before the picture was done so we decided to go eat something. after a long debate on whether we wanted cheese fries from steak n shake or bbq from bandana's we decided bbq from bandana's and cheese fries and dessert from steak n shank..yeah thats how we roll. haha well...i got way too full at bandana's to get cheese fries but we did have dessert. i got a parfait and he got a sundae but as we were eating it we remembered how good they're strawberry shakes were and decided to get one of those to go, too!

finally we started our journey back to pick up our picture from the strip. i say journey in stead of quick trip b/c we ended up missing our turn and going 30 minutes out of our way!! he was talking on the phone with a friend about his final and stupid me was just sittin back watching the road go by not even thinking twice when i saw a sign for ELDON. anyway we got turned around took a wrong turn again, ended up on the toll bridge, turned around in the middle of the road with cars coming, and made our way back to the picture place. this little "journey" took us over an hour to recover from :) after we got our picture and took off for home but yeah kara saw just a couple more stores she wanted to hit up!

we went to marshall's to check out the deals..neither of us found a thing. went to petco and spent an hour looking at the fish and mice only to have a mean ol' lady come and tell us that she was needing some food for her snake and that our cute little mice friends we had just made were going to become chow...i bought rave a toy and left. the last leg of our trip was maurice's.. i loved like everything in the store i liked a dress, some shorts, a green bag, and at least 6 shirts! but i totally fell in love with some silver jeans...they were awesome and i'm not liking the way any of my current pants i own are fitting me so i thought i would try a pair on and just feel how awesome they were. well whatta ya freaking know they had a 28/31 and a 30/31 and i wear a 29/31.....i tried on the 28/31 in hopes that my ass would magically shrink into those pants..no luck. so then i tried the 30/31 on secretly hoping they would fit yet not wanting to have to up my size again. and both to my disappointment and surprise at the same time they didn't fit. so a bummed me went about the store looking at all the other clothes and bags. i ended up buying the little go green bag that i had found when i first came in the store..its a big bag with a panda bear and bamboo on the front that says "love the earth" ..its cute. so we left the store: me disappointed and aaron trying to reassure me, but when i got to the car i noticed a white bag sitting in my floor board and as i looked harder i noticed it had maurice's written on so i asked aaron why the bag was in there...well i got in the car and opened the bag and there were MY JEANS...they were the jeans i had searched for in my size 29/31...aaron had found them and bought them while i was in the dressing room...man he's great. now i have to get him back!
we finally got home and i crashed...out...ZzZzZz

sunday morning we went to my grandma's grave as a family for mother's day. soon after that aaron had to leave, so to pass the time after he left mom and i went and got layla and watched her for about 2 hours. she was a lot of fun and she's so dang smart! around 5 we took her home and then went to eat at Lee's chicken b/c my mom had been craving it for a week. after we ate we went to wal-mart to get some stuff and i made the mistake of trying on a couple swim suit bottoms again and about puked....so when i got home a had a melt down and went to town to run...i ran/walked around town last night for a little over an hour! take that you ugly butt you!! ;)

well i had an awesome weekend even though is was yucky outside...Have a great week everyone!

Funny Stuff

ya know most people don't tell stupid stories on themselves but i'm at a point now where i love to make fun of myself...i think it keeps the mood light and i don't wanna go through life embarrassed all the time b/c that would definitely be the case with me...i'm always goofin something up or falling, tripping, or running into things...that is just the case i'm gonna tell you about!! last night i was working the late shift (4-5:30) and i was waiting on a customer..imagine that huh? well i was kinda in a hurry b/c i had messed up, had to fix it , and was taking forever and i realized i was out of money envelopes. well i took off..obviously in a dead run! i got to the closed door that i needed to open in order to get to the envelopes and didn't turn the door knob enough and slammed my face right into the door!! i mean i hit that thing HARD...i about knocked myself out head buttin the door..how stupid right? well i finally got my eyes to focus again and managed to feel around for the envelopes and somehow got the money inside. by then my eyes were watering big time from the impact, but i still had to give the woman her receipt and money...i walked VERY SLOWLY to the drive-up window and through the tears gave her money and managed to squeak out a "have a great weekend"...i'm sure she thought my dog just died or something the way the my eyes looked...either that or i just snorted a line! (which i don't do by the way!) anyway joyce (my co-worker that was working with me at the time) and i had a pretty good laugh about that one!!

Yay it's finally friday...these past 2 weeks have drug on and on have they not?!

Yesterday i was telling you that my mom was planning a surprise supper for me that i would really enjoy..well..it ended up being aaron with some Chinese food..yipee. he wasn't suppose to come down until today but yeah..him and his mom had made chicken fried rice, lomaine, and he had picked up some brown rice, white rice, and lettuce wrap guts from P.F. Chang's in wichita and brought them for us to eat. and of course it was awesome :) the funny part of the story was that aaron had really ticked me off by telling me he was at the mall with a girl i wasn't too fond of...yeah that ticked me off pretty bad so by the time i got home i was pissed..and surprise there he was (not at the mall in kansas YAY)!

today is going to be a long long day for me. this is my late friday to work so i won't get off until 5:30 but i also have a make-up class tonight that is supposed to start at 5 so i will get off work at 5:30 and boot-scoot up to rolla so i can be there by 6..the time we start the test. i know most of you are like dang girl just skip a class, it won't hurt, but no! if i don't go to class my test will count as a zero and i'm trying pretty hard to keep an A in the class (the only classes i've gotten A's in, in college are math classes, ironic since i HATE MATH)...moral of the story- i have to go to class tonight.

tomorrow aaron and i are going shopping and doign this and that at the Lake of the Ozarks..fun fun. i haven't been to the lake shopping since last summer so i'm pretty pumped. i really enjoy shopping at the pacsun there b/c it has a few different things than my usual pacsun in jeff, i like aeropostale for their jewelry and cute tanks, i love to look at all the junk in Rue 21 b/c they've always got crazy stuff displayed. and if the weather is nice enough were goin to try to go putt-putt golfing at the Pirate's Cove and maybe ride some go Karts! i can't wait.

and for sunday....it's mother's day so whatever mother says goes!!! i'm sure we'll go out to eat and who knows what else.

Geez!

Man-o-man i've been really busy at work today! One of my bosses had given me a project to work on...well i got the first part of it done that day but it has taken me a week to get up the courage to go for it and try to figure this thing out! i tried it the first day and was sooo confused i had to just get away from my computer. Now i can say I AM FINISHED!!! woot woot i'm done with it...with a little help from my co-worker Joyce we got through it....

so anyway i've been really busy today and i dont really have anymore exciting news :(
i will tell you that my mom is planning on making me a supper "i will really, really like!" so i am very anxious to find out what it is.

on another note i will also inform you that i have been doing really good on my "healthy eating." i've worked out nearly everyday and had some form of a salad nearly everyday! i noticed today that i really do eat the most when i am bored...i've been really busy today and all ive eaten is some popcorn. on a usual day i would have eaten some lunch maybe a sandwhich, and at least two snacks. Hooray for the busy life!!!! (never thought i'd say that)

ohh and my dog has a new routine of waking me up around 3 or 4 every night/morning...grrr

Booo..

Boo...i have to go to the dentists today so i don't really have any good exciting or fun news to tell you b/c all i can think about is this tingle in my teeth and imaging how my dentist is going to break the news to me that i have my very first cavity....grrrr. Tuesday Ten!

My 10 favorite movies of all time! This is a list of movies that a could watch again and again:
this list doens't include my newset favs...like recent releases.

Nightmare Before Christmas - i liek this movie b/c it has been a ritual to watch it before christmas and halloween every year since it came out...takes me back a little.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the remake) - i really like jessica biel and this is a classic story line turned modern.

The Exorcist (the original) - i love this movie b/c it was on of the first horror movie that ever rattle my bones...even with the old school graphics it's still freaky.

The Notebook - what girl doesn;t just love that movie.

Titanic - it's kinda of grown on me b/c when i used to be in one of those crappy relationship sback in the day....(i wont name any names) i would come home after a fit or breakup (there were many of each) and turn that movie on and just cry and cry and cry...a movie that i can waller in my own self pitty with!

Fried Green Tomatoes - i love the story line and it's a common chick flick.

Now and Then - i thought christina ricci was the shit in that movie and when i was younger always wanted to be just like her!!

Windtalkers - this is the only war type movie that i have ever liked...anmd i like it alot so it deserves to be on on my list.

The Grudge - This scared the piss out of me when i watched it in the movies..it was the scariest movie i had ever seen...since then i've had the shit scared out of me and that movie isn't so scary..

In Her Shoes or The Holiday - i love love love cameron diaz and she is AWESOME in both of these movies..not to mention the movies are great as well. the storylines lean toward chickflicks but i think a dude would enjoy them, too!

Bad Blogger BAD BAD BAD!

Sorry guys i didn't abandon you i promise! since thursday i started feeling kinda blah and tired and that feeling didn't go way until yesterday...so i haven't blogged. bad excuse but im sorry!

so lets c i'm going to start with thursday and work my way up to today doing a sort of week/weekend recap...

thursday - danielle and i walked after work (i know i said i didn't feel well but i thought exercise would help) after we walked around town for a while i came back to my house and pretty much just lounged around the house...i've found a new show in the past few weeks that im really intrigued by. it's called mystery diagnosis and it's on the discovery health channel... these people will have strange symptoms that seems to be totally irrelevant to each other and throughout the entire show you get to see the kind of tests they run on them to try to find out the right diagnosis...finally in the end theres a hero doctor that has actually heard of the disease or read about it once in medical school and they can now diagnose them properly and get them "fixed." good show.

friday- i was really tired that day, too. i eventually got to feeling a little more up to par so i made a quick trip to jeff and my friend chace rode along. yeah he wasn't much help in the shopping department! i was in the make-up isle for about 30 minutes trying to decide which foundation was most like tinted moisturizer and chace just followed me around like a lost puppy...grrr i hate it when people do that! later i went to the mall to spend my money i've been saving up for the past couple weeks for summer clothes...yeah another lost cause. i've grown to realize i have to have a good shopping partner with just the right advice with me in order for me to make a purchase...i mean i had a set amount of money i was going to allow myself to spend (in order to keep to my strict budget i've given myself and to keep from bringing useless stuff home that i will never use or wear!) and i wasn't going to just spend it on whatever it needed to be a great thing and i've realized chace is not one of those people i can take shopping...aaron, my mom, and danielle are the only ones that i can go shopping with and actually buy something that i will wear...i guess they know me better than i know myself! later that evening we all went for a roadtrip around the wonderful county roads in vienna!

saturday - i didn't do a dang thing! i sat around all day watching mystery diagnosis...later on i went to the gym to run a couple miles and my mom joined me for about .8 of a mile! but ya know i love the company so i'm not gonna complain. i mean i don't think i would have gotten much conversation out the guy over in the corner who was grunting every time he moved!! geeze do ya really gotta lift that much weight at one time...can it really be helping you? i would prolly poop my pants of i tried to lift that stuff...especially they way he was groaning and moaning!! when i got home from the gym i surfed the net for a little while looking for awesome things to do at the lake of the ozarks this time of year b/c aaron and i are going to hang out there this weekend....then i fell asleep at about 10.

sunday - i woke up before 8:30 all by my lonesome!! Woot Woot! haha yeah that didn't last long...after about 4 hours of watching mystery diagnosis (i think i've about seen all the episodes by now) i went over to tina's new house to help clean, move, or eat whichever was going on at the time! i ended up cleaning a bathroom with my mom and tackling the kitchen area...must not have been used that much b/c it wasn't too dirty. by then i was starving so we got some grub from the spring chicken dinner at the KofC hall in Vienna...the food was delish! needless to say after i got my big ol' belly full i went home and layed down for a nap...i woke up about 2 hours later, ate a little something, and went out to run my drive way and i did it!!! go kara go kara...i ran the whole thing which is about a mile. i can run a mile at the gym on the treadmill no big deal now but theres something about having to set my own pace that i cannot grip...well i finally did it and to reward myself i grabbed some money and ran/walked up to G&W and bought myself a magazine and then practically ran the whole way back b/c it was dark outside and i'm not to fond of the woods at night..haha yeah laugh it up i know i'm scared of the dark..i guess it's all those scary movies. so i topped the evening off in my bed reading my magazine. life couldn't get any better!

man o man see if a ever skip 3 days in a row again...that was a lot of planning and typing!
