i had class last night...and a little fyi..after spending about 5 hours in one class doing college algebra YA WANNA GO HOME! so here i am walking out the door of my class carrying my suitcase aka my purse (its huge), my lunchbox (please don't make fun of me...i need to eat healthy and that's the only way to get my food to school), my books, aaron's TI-83 calculator carefully placed on top of my books, keys in hand and holding my cell phone. everything was going fine until i reached the lobby and realized there were about 10 UMR guys standing mingling..as if the 10 people standing there wasn't enough they were UMR guys these guys will stare down anyone that's walks through and you can just tell after you pass they're talking about you! so i got really nervous with all those people standing around and started fidgeting with my phone and dialed aaron. well i thought i had almost made it through the rough spot when i looked up and saw about 10 more guys standing outside! i got the the door and had to kick it to get it open b/c i had all my shit in my hands...then i started to make my way through the maze of dudes that were just standing in the way of the sidewalk like they owned the joint (not surprising). i made it though them a-ok but when i got to the end of side walk (after the sidewalk is about 20 stairs down a steep hill) i dropped the carefully placed calculator on the ground! i yelled "oh damn" which immediately drew attention to myself...crap. as i dropped the calculator one piece landed right at my feet but i had to watch the other piece fly off the hill...rolling as it went..and landed hidden in the grass. it wouldn't have been as bad if it was daylight and i could have actually seen where the calculator piece had flown...but no...it was pitch black in the grass... i grumbled knowing i had to go search for this calculator piece in the pitch black right after i had made a fool of myself with my lunchbox, dropping the calculator, and practically yelling "LOOK AT ME" i started off the steps so i could get closer to the grass where my calculator piece had hidden itself and what do ya know i twisted my ankle! and you guessed it i fell! thank goodness i just kinda did a little indian style sitting thing when i plopped down on the sidewalk...(UMR dudes still staring at me) then being the idiot i am i tried to play it off. as if i could play off the fact that i had just fell flat on my ass...but i tried. i sat there all prim and pretty and acted like i had meant to sit down all the while acting like i was on the phone..i carefully put my lunchbox in my suitcase (purse) carefully placed my books on the concrete beside me and got up to go retrieve my calculator piece. by this time aaron had actually answered his phone so i had another distraction. i did all of this without even looking the direction of the UMR dude because i knew if i made eye contact with any of them i would either die of humiliation, laugh hysterically (that would have just added to the humiliation b/c i have a goose laugh), or cause them to laugh hysterically...i just couldn't bare the idea...so i just looked down the whole time. when i finally found my calculator piece i ran to my books scooped them up and ran down the steps to my car...geeze. i immediately started laughing so hard i couldn't even tell aaron what had happened and when i got off the phone with aaron i called my mom and told her what happened and now here i am telling all of you how i made an ass of myself!
i now have a good most embarrassing moment story!
