my weekend was great!
Friday aaron and i went out to eat at applebees. we ordered chips with cheese dip for an appetizer, he got a quesidilla (sp?) burger, and i got a 100% angus bacon cheese burger (OMG) it was way tooooooooo big...i could barely get my mouth around it to take a bite..and that's after i took the extras off of it. to mine and aarons surprise i almost ate the entire thing! after we finished our burgers we ordered dessert. i got a blondie (yumm) and aaron got a dessert shooter. it's a small helping of a dessert in a cup..he got the strawberry cheesecake one and it was really good, too. after we were done stuffing ourselves we went to random stores and looked at random things. we made a trip to target so i could get a gold headband to wear to my employee banquet this saturday and was there for nearly an hour...after carrying a carefully selected headband around for about 55 minutes i found one i liked better...yes i traded it that easily. ya know ya woulda thought id had some kind of connection with that headband the way i had carried it around the whole store for that long...i mean i had held on to it so tightly that i accidentally made the price tag fall off so..i carried it around too. and then i just dropped it for bigger and better things like it was nothing to me :) man i miss that headband...
so after our hour long target trip we made our way to hastings...it's seems that nearly any date or trip to jeff city ends at hastings! ALWAYS! since i was sooo stuffed to the top and i had just walked around for an hour i felt like sitting..i found a big Ripley's Believe it or not book. i plopped myself down in one of the comfy chairs they have sitting in the isles and started to read it..soon after i sat down aaron wandered over to my chiar and plopped down with me...i think we ended up sitting there for about 45 minutes reading that book! after the book reading we went home and cuddled as we watched tv...nothing new there.
saturday we hung out and watched tv for most of the day and helped my cousin kelsey get ready for her prom that evening. we fixed her hair, i watched her put her make-up on, we ate some food (when our family is together eating together is a must), then we took some pictures of her and her date cody! that evening we went over to bj asberrys house to hang out, play pool, play cards, watch kara kick every one's ass at wii..ok so i made that up but i did play it! aaron and i ordered a pizza and sat on the couch and ate the whole thing..man i haven't done that in a while! later we went roadtripping with will, amanda, bud, blake, bj, dale, chace, and chuck. we pretty much ended up sitting in the middle of a county road chat chittin about stupid stuff...man ya gotta love living in the country! they then decided they were going to crash the prom party labeling themselves "the prom crashers" that wasn't my cup-o-tea so aaron and i went home to hang..
sunday i woke up around 9 and was ready to go...where im not sure but i was wide awake! i got aaron outta bed and we decided to go mushroom hunting. yeah i don't even have a small one to take a picture of..we didn't find any :( bom bom bommm... the rest of the day included visiting lana, layla, glen, jesse, and kelsey and watching stephen kings the stand...and i mean the rest of the day...i watched that damn movie until it went off at 10. and it started at 2!!!!! man oh man
so i had a great weekend and i hope everyone else did, too! have a great week!
