i had a great weekend with the employee banquet, to the movie watching, and just hanging out!friday evening aaron and i watched two movies...first we watched juno which as a cute little movie about a young girl in high school who gets pregnant with her geeky little "friend!" it's super cute movie although juno is a little strange..it makes for a really different movie!

the second movie we watched was cloverfield...it was different! i mean all freaky deaky movie kind of follow the same story line as far as the monster attacks, the guy wants to save the girl, and runs back into the mess. what set it apart from all the others was the way it was filmed...i don't think it will ruin the movie at all, but the entire movie was a recorded home video of the events. now it may sound cheaply made but it wasn't. it's done with a professional camera it just seems to be a home video the way it jumps around every now and then. all around good movie...wish i could have actually made out what the creature was but good movie!
saturday aaron and i attended my employee banquet..it was very professional but i had a alot of fun and i think aaron did too! aaron was making friends with my big bosses that don't even like me...way to go babe, brownie points for kara!! any way we got all dolled up, ate some food, took a "prom" picture, and i got a pin for working there for over two years (3 years next month). now... when i say "prom" picture it was literally like we were at prom...we walked up to this prop with a red carpet and some other decorations and posed for a picture (the theme of the banquet was people's choice awards)...we later found out that they are going to give us our picture in a cute frame this week...JUST LIKE PROM! anyways we took a few picture of our own before we left and on our way ;)
it looks like my shoulder is out socket, but isn't aaron lookin like a hottie in that pin stripped suit and shades??!! my oh my ;)
sunday everyone hung out and watched tv most of the day...we did a little internet surfing, and my mom made us lunch. we had fried chicken, green beans, mac n cheese, and potato salad. my grandpa came to join us for lunch and had us rolling with laughter the entire time...anywhere from pecker heads to pot bellied pigs! i love my family :)
i came across a really neat website on one of the blogs i frequent today and figured i'd share it with you! it's all about going green. i think it's a great idea and would kind of like to go a little "green" myself, but didn't know where to start..here are 50 things you can get started with. they seem easy enough and the statistics are amazing!

Have a Great Week!!!!!
