Aaron..

ive decided i'm going to dedicate this blog to my boyfriend aaron!
he's a wonderful boyfriend and i want you guys to know a little about him and our relationship.

i met aaron at a benefit dance for tommy pickering, at what is now know as the naughty pine bar (or mickey's saloon, never quite understood why they changed the name b/c i thought he came up with it anyway) a little over a year ago. he lives in a sweet huge house in wichita, kansas. i only get to see him every other weekend and occasionally every weekend (i like the every weekendthing!) because he lives 6 hours away (4 1/2 hour drive for him). i miss him a lot during the week but it always gives us exciting things to talk about on the weekends when i see him, such as how sucky clinicals are, or how i did absolutely nothing since i'd last seen him. we also talk every single day on the phone, and we've never missed our goodnight conversation telling about our day and discussing random topics..such as who snores, which way a belt with two rings (d's) is supposed to go, and our healthy food choices and workouts we did that day!

we do a lot of exciting things too! one of our many hobbies is to rent or go to the movies and go see scary movies at the theatre..those are our favs (my fav cuz he gets scared and cuddles up to me haha)! other things we like to do involve making random trips to rolla or jeff city to shop for useless things or get something to eat ,which we feel guilty about later because were both trying to get into shape. we like to cuddle, and workout together too! he's very supportive of everything i do, and he has especially helped out with reaching my goal weight...he tells me what i SHOULD eat so at least i know i'm eating bad when i eat! haha

aaron is a very spontaneous person who would just take off to another state if it sounded like a fun adventure. i love that he's like that because i tend to be spontaneous about things as well..maybe not taking off to another state but i think planning is for the birds.

ive been to kansas once so far to see where he lives and get a feel for the lifestyle he's used to. wichita is a pretty big town compared to what im used to so i looked like a damn tourists taking pictures of everything i could. we ate at a few different places that were new to me...i actually ate a lettuce wrap...you put lomaine (chinese) noodles and tiny chicken chunks and some crunchy things into a leaf of lettuce and eat it! it was awesome! we also went to old town in wichita that still has stone, brick or whatever roads and went to see the arkansas river and the statue there. he's always trying to think of new things to do that ive never done before. a few weeks ago we went to st. louis to stay with his sister andrea and her husband brian. we went up into the arch, something i haven't done since i was very small, and shopped at the dove mall which i've only gotten to do once! speaking of firsts..I DROVE to st. louis..actually to illinois! aaron coached me the whole time and i didn't freak out once, we make a good team. if i would've been with anyone else it's guaranteed i would have pinched there head off, kicked them out, and depending on the situation.. maybe ran over them! (i never realized the road rage i had!) so thank you aaron..i'm glad i didn't have to run over you because i'm sure i would regretted it later...

aaron and i have also made plans to go to pom de terre lake this summer with his family so that should be an exciting trip, too. i get along with his family really well and that is definitely a plus!

aaron is also very good at surprising me! it seems that almost every time i turn around i've got some kind of surprise waiting for me somewhere...whether it be my car, work or even my bed! when we first started dating he sent me roses to work telling me to have a great day and that he was thinking of me...so sweet (i have all 5 cards from the flowers i've received while at work) sometimes when i'm having a crappy day and tell him about it i get flowers within the hour...i NEVER expect them..they're always surprise! i figured id spend valentines alone this year due to aaron having class thursday and me having class thursday night until 10:00 which puts me home at 10:30...well to my surprise i walked into the front door and saw roses leading up to my room..or course i thought my mom did something for him or something goofy. i walked up the steps and on my bed saw a HUGE bulletin board full of picture, quotes, and random scrap booking things alllll over it. along with the board was 2 big balloons half the size of me shaped like a hearts and lips, 2 smaller heart balloons, a teddy bear, and a dog stuffed animal that shakes his leg. off to the left of my bed was a large bouquet of different kinds of flowers with candles lit all around (in addition to the roses i got at work that day) and even further to the left of my bed stood aaron! it was the best valentines day ever! since then i have gotten flowers, cards, a stuffed bear, and a display set up in my car (b/c i was down about gaining weight and thinking i looked like a fat cow). he had went to jeff city and printed out several pictures, bought the frames i had wanted from hobby lobby, put the pictures in them, and gotten me some flowers..he then proceeded to text me and asked me to look for his wallet in my car...obviously i fell for it once again!

aaron is a super sweet guy that would do anything for anyone who needed it! my parents love him, my friends love him, and so do i! he gets along with (nearly) every person that has ever met him and we've been dating for a lil over 4 months now and i hope we have many, many months to come! he id by far the greatest boyfriend i've ever had and i hope i can return the favor :)
