Ironic!

this whole week i have been trying to find the perfect gift for aaron for our 6 months annv. while we were shopping this past weekend he had commented on a watch with a white band so i decided i would find one and surprise him with it...i spent 2 days searching the net and finally found a few at fossil.com and fell in love with one of the watches and ordered it for aaron. they even sent me cute little tin to put it in! i wrapped it all neatly, hidding the brand so it wouldn't be so obvious what it was. i was soooo proud of myself well....

i came home today after work and aaron was just gettin' in from kansas. i went outside to help him bring all of his stuff in the house and he gave me my gift. well...it was a tin...very similar to the tin i had hidden us in my room all nicely wrapped...i immediately opened knowing what it was and all i could manage to get out was "that's funny!" of course i told him i loved it and tried to play it off so it wouldn't spoil his surprise. we got him all moved in which took about 45 minutes and i took him up to my room to give him his gift...as soon as he saw the tin he was like "really?" he absolutely loved his watch and i love mine...isn't it ironic that neither one of us had any idea what to get the other and ended up both getting fossil watches :) here are the pictures of our watches \/
