Monday Madness

i had a nice weekend how about you?

friday night i had class...boring!

saturday i worked til noon as usually, went home and took and nap, then got up and got ready to go to columbia.

when the luver and i got to columbia i made a wrong turn right off the bat...surprise i know! so we ended up heading down stadium bld...yes in the middle of everyone trying to get into MU for the football game. People are crazy up there. they were parked anywhere and everywhere trying to squeeze their vehicles into any spot that resembled a open patch of grass!! so after we FINALLY made our way through the mess we got to the mall and walked around just looking at the goodies.

my parents met us up there and met us at the mall...my mom even bought me a shirt!! (and aaron got me belly rings..thanks babe!) so after gally batting around for about 30 minutes we headed on over to sam's to go shopping for the grocery goods. my parents had never been there and didn't have a membership (like aaron and i do) so we had to go with them. they were amazed at the prices of everything. they ended up buying A LOT!

then after sam's we headed back down the highway to HuHot to eat some grub. my dad was a Little nervous about the whole experience because he couldn't imagine how he could come up with a good recipe for mongolian food...wel he ended up LOVING it! they both loved it and want to go back. mission accomplished.

after we all left HuHot we went back to Jeff city..my parents went back to vienna and aaron and i went to see tropic thunder. That movie is so dang funny. i realize many people find it controversial b/c of there reference to the word "retard" and i can definitely see there point but i don't think the script writers meant to offended anyone. they use the word several times but one man is telling the other that his roll in a movie was pushed a little too far. he tells the other that most people who portray some with a mental illness in movies don't go to the extreme that this man did and he makes fun of him for playing a role in such a dumb movie... i just think it was misunderstood but i'm not out to judged anyone!

sunday aaron left around 8:30 in the morning so i only got to say bye and that was it :(... after he left i slept for a bit longer then my mom woke me up to get ready for a bridal shower.. we picked tina (friend/co-worker) up and headed out there. she flew through the presents and i scarfed the food so we were outta there and home by like 3! so after we got home mom and i worked on my mid-term test for my online class microeconomics...that class is stinking hard! so i got a d but my grade in the class is still a C+ could be worse. after that mom and i rearranged my room (i would have pictures but my camera is d-e-a-d dead!) and then lounged on the couch watching the vmas the rest of the evening!

speaking of the vmas...did anyone hear how that robert brand dude (the host)was bashing george bush, sarah palin, and the jonas brothers???? (their rings they where to symbolize there faith) i couldn't believe he was getting away with it! hes not even from here!!
