I gonna just forget that the week before last even happened b/c i can't even remember what i did...although i'm think i went fishing and caught ALL the fish :) so on the my vacation..
We had decided to go to Branson this year for a mini family vacation since we hadn't gotten to take one this year due to many different things going on in the same month and i worked all the time and went to school and aaron could never get off. So we went to branson and stayed in a really nice hotel/motel (w/e) called the Windmill Inn..i highly suggest it. it was right there in the middle of everything and what was even better was the Tanger outlet mall in the same driveway as our motel. I spent a lot of money there!

Here is a list of the activities we did, what night, and a description (just to keep it organized)
- Shopped at the landing - Sat night - basically we just walked around the landing to see what kinds of stores they had and scope out where we wanted to spend that money! we were only there for a short time so i didn't buy anything that night.
- Back to the Landing - Sunday Morning- we went back Sunday morning to finish up shopping and to get some good deals on tickets in there info center.
- Ride the Ducks - Sunday Day - we decided that we wanted to the ride the ducks down on the landing b/c we had already taken the "Classic" tour a couple years ago...our driver was crazy and not really family oriented! and the best part of the duck trip was getting to drive...you heard me! i was sitting so calmy in the back just watching the scenery when the dude driving told me to get up here in drive...seems aaron had made a deal with this guy, so i had to drive the duck along with all the little kids :)
-Dixie Stampede - Sunday Evening - my mom had been wanting to see the Dixie Stampede show since we had went to Branson 2 years ago so we decided to fit that in to our schedule (as if we had one!). it was a really really neat show..they feed like at Medieval Times. You get like chicken, a roll, soup, pork tenderloin, corn, potato, and an apple danish type of thing...but the catch is you have to eat it all with your hands as if your in the olden days (even tho the time setting of this play was when they had silverware!) it turned out to be really fun and i
suggest it to anybody!-Putt Putt Golf and Go Karts - Monday Day - the go karts and golf course were right beside our hotel so it wasn't a big deal to just walk over there and we needed some time to kill so we hopped on over there and had us a good ol' time. the go kart track was up on stilts in the air kinda of resembling a wooden bridge and parking structure. they weren't your traditional go karts and were a lot of fun if you could get past the really really rough wooden track...haha tons of fun tho. then the putt putt golf game came and i sucked big time! mom ended up winning b/c she got 2 hole in ones!! go mom! there were
funny little house you had to hit the ball through and awkward shots to make...good time-Celebration City - Monday Afternoon/Night - The park opened at 3 and stayed open until 10 which was kind of awkward hours for a amusement park but it was enough time for me to ride each ride about twice! they had 3 coasters, a mini Excalibur (6 flags) but was more fun, a superman type ride except it kept going up and down over and over which got ya kinds sick, and some other fun activities. one of the other activities we did there was get inside a huge robot and boxed each other...aaron didn't do do hot b/c i beat him both times we played!
-Bass Pro - Tuesday Noon - we went there so aaron and dad could get some cool shades and i swear it took them about 2 hours!! haha
-Outback Roadhouse - Tuesday Afternoon - This was a pretty cool restaurant
that sold things that the average joe place wouldn't sell..such as alligator tail. Yeah i ate alligator tale...and i like it...no cherry chapstick tho! haha they're burgers were awesome and so was the chicken sandwiches.-
Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre - Tuesday Night - This was the last big thing we did while we were in Branson. Dad had read the books by Harold Bell Wright talking about one of the first families that settled in the Ozark Hills. The book tells about there lives a small group of bandits called the Baldnobbers. I'm working on reading the story myself, but it really helps to watch the performance and take the tour first...helps you understand the characters. there is also a tower called inspiation tower you can go up inside. you ride up in a
glass elavator...i'm afraid of heights so this is abig issue to me...like that => picture..it looks like were close to the edge but NO! i'm standing about 4 foot away from the edge b/c it's so scary! And of course in between nearly all of the activities we did a little shopping and stuff...i ended up getting a pair of shoes, like 7 shirts, and some other junk like jewelry and that such.
We had a GREAT time!! it was the best vacation i've ever had b/c there was hardly any bickering and everyone agreed on the activities and when to do em.
