Scrapbooking! Part 1

Iv'e been reading alot of craft blogs lately, as you can tell by my blog love!

its really inspired me to start up scrap booking again. i used to do it all the time now i just seem to do it every now and then when i see a good idea. i've got a few pages in my "teen" scrapbook that look ok but most of them are TEEN as in pictures everywhere no words that sorta thing. so i started a more "grown up" scrapbook! Here are some pictures and explanations!!

Here is a layout from my "teen" scrapbook b/c it was the only one worthy of my blog!! haha

i just took two diff pieces of 12X12 paper and cut the exact same design out of each paper. then pieced it together for a neat looking background!

this is the 1st page of my "grown up" scrapbook!

i used brads on the corners and just used plain string to make it appear that they were holding the blue page on. the blue page is riped to give it a different look. i used stencils to put the letters on the paper and the heart. the i used metal letters to spell out my name inside the letters!!Here is my layout of layla!

my stupid up loader keeps turning layla's 1st page sideways (no clue why!)

i used regular card stock and cut tiny little flower shaped pieces out of colored card stock and drew on them to make them look like the flowers on the printed paper!!

Raven's page took a while! i used a layout i found on the net to make this one. the bar were hard to cut straight the circles wanted to rip and my ink was gettin outta hand! the letters are stenciled on there with letters printed out on my home computer..use thick paper to make stencils..works better!

I found a similar layout for this page as well. The circles took 6 days 4 hours 2minutes and 5 seconds to cut out!! my hand was WAY cramped up! other than the circles all the pages consist of are two black sheets of paper while pencils swirls drawn on them! it's not finished yet b/c i need to find a really good picture of my cousin kelsey and i!
